Next Stop - The New Spas of the Spreewald Region of Germany

Hot spring draws visitors to Burg, Germany
Roughly an hour south of Berlin, the Spreewald (German for Spree Forest) area has long been a popular destination for domestic travelers. The region features a Unesco biosphere reserve, which assures the forests, canals and wildlife will be preserved. More than a decade ago, a hot spring was discovered in the small community of Burg. The hot spring was made accessible to the public about five years ago and Burg became a certified spa destination.
